Event Facts
25th Anniversary Logo 25 years ago, SCCA Enterprises began development on what has become the most successful spec race car in America; The Sports Renault. Three years later the car would switch to Ford power and become known as the Spec Racer Ford, or simply SRF. To date there have been over 850 Spec Racer chassis sold and the Spec Racer Ford is one of the most successful SCCA National classes.

This April SCCA Enterprises is hosting a special 25th Anniversary Celebration featuring the Spec Racer Ford. The event will offer four groups and provide racing opportunities for every race car ever produced by SCCA Enterprises. Groups included are:
  • Group 1 - SCCA Pro Spec Racer Ford
  • Group 2 - SCCA Pro Formula Enterprises
  • Group 3 - USERA Spec Racer Challenge
  • Group 4 - Sports Renault, FE Sports Racer, Shelby Can-Am and all re-engined Spec Racers
  • Group 4 - Also includes the invitational only VIP Driver's Race
The weekend will include double sprint races... one sprint race Saturday afternooon and a second sprint race Sunday afternoon... with nearly 4 hours of track time per group. Spec Racer Fords can run in both the SCCA Pro and USERA races, giving you what will seem like endless track time as we celebrate your commitment to the car and to SCCA Enterprises. We also have a test day on Friday that offers over an hour and half of additional track time for dialing in your car for the weekend.

Entry fees are $1,050 per car for Groups 1 and 2, and $750 per car for Groups 3 and 4. The Test Day entry fee is $350.

SCCA Pro Racing, Ltd. is sanctioning Groups 1 and 2. USERA is sanctioning Groups 3 and 4. You will be required to be members of SCCA and hold an SCCA Pro Racing license to run Groups 1 and 2. Membership with USERA is included in the event entry fee for Groups 3 and 4, and since USERA recognizes all grades of SCCA licenses, among others, you are not required to purchase a USERA Competition License. Overall event operstion, including the SCCA Pro Groups 1 and 2, will be as defined by the USERA Sporting Regulations.
